QLD: Police target bikie gang in amphetamine raids
BRISBANE, Dec 4 AAP - Properties owned by members of the Rebels motorcycle gang have
been targeted in a series of drug raids in central Queensland.
A police spokeswoman said detectives from Rockhampton, State Crime Operation Command
and the Australian Crime Commission executed 14 search warrants early this morning.
Homes and properties in Rockhampton, Mt Morgan, Moura and Yeppoon were raided by police
searching for amphetamine laboratories and drugs.
Four people have been arrested and were being interviewed by police.
The investigation was part of Operation Alpha Mayflower, which targeted the amphetamine
production and distribution trade along the east coast of Australia.
